Email forwarding
Morning/Afternoon,
I currently have a domain and web hosting package, which allows me to receive/send email from me@mydomain.co.uk
Let's say I didn't want to have the domain or hosting any longer. This would mean that any emails to that address would bounce. That is perfectly understandable. Obviously this means I'd need to go around and change the email address in various locations to another address.
As I'd no longer have the domain, someone else could use it, so I'm guessing that I could not have an email redirect setup (if it is indeed possible to do this) without having the domain. Is this the case? If not then suggestions as to who to use to provide the redirect.
If I decide to keep the domain, but not to keep the hosting package, does it make things easier in having an email redirect?

if it is a .co.uk move it for free to 123reg.co.uk who allow free email forwarding, renewals for .co.uk are about £6.10p for 2 years.
Hosting package should be irrelevant.
Set up 123reg account
go to current ISPs system and look for option to change IPS tag.
go to 123reg.co.uk and log in
click transfer in domain
type in domain and current IPS tag
easy!
