Ok I bought a laptop 3 weeks ago dual core 1 gig ram 80 gig hard drive, and it connected fine through either wireless or Ethernet connection. Now all of a sudden it will not connect to the internet Tried system restore disk to no avail and the laptop (windows xp ) and main pc in the living room (also xp) can see the wireless network and connect ?

 

Vista on my machine occasionally has a fit at bootup and refuses to see the network for a while.

Then it gets bored of playing the no-network game, and everything starts working fine again
