I have a new 20" iMac to replace my old G4 tower. There are two POP e-mail accounts I use. The Virgin one is working fine but my other one is karoo (Kingston Communications) and for some reason won't work. I've filled all the account details in but it won't connect with the smtp for some reason. This account still works fine on my old Mac using Speedtouch USB. New iMac is using zyxel ethernet connection. I have contacted the Karoo helpdesk but they can't understand it either. Internet is working fine as well as the Virgin account. Any ideas anyone?

 

Have you check that its not using the Virgin SMTP server as mail will default to the first SMTP server that you enter

 

I'll have another look. I've tried adjusting the stmp several times. Mail is coming in now no probs, just won't send.
