iTunes - Media Player, can it be done ?
Hi,
Most of my music is on iTunes, however, is it possible to 'drag' the music from iTunes to Media Player without any playback problems ?
Am I right in thinking that the music is only 'locked' on the transfer from iTunes - the iPod and not when ripping to iTunes ??
(does any of the above make sense ?? )
Cheers,
Steve

If Media Player supports the format of the files as they existing in iTunes then it should be able to play them without issue.
Songs downloaded from the iTunes Music Store will be in Protected AAC format and will only work in iTunes. What you could do is to burn these songs to a CD (as an audio cd, not as mp3) then rip them into iTunes as whatever format you want.
