Use it for remote access of my machine in work, the packged version that staff members use to install onto home machines has ran into a few niggles but im guessing thats user error, it's basically an autoconfigure package that does all the settings for them
are you about to set up a VPN server? or looking into remote connection methods?

I'm not an expert on it by any means but I know the setttings are configured server side by VPN group polices that configure settings.. split tunnelling etc, thats on my cisco 877 anyways, I imagine the PIX etc to be a similar setup

I've never found any major problems with it, it works fine, I can do everything I can from my desk that I can from home. All I do is connect and forget.
I'm able to view all computer accounts on our domain fine, I'd guess it's more of a NETBIOS issue than the Cisco VPN.
If you are using Vista, you will have to download the latest beta, it works fine though.

Works perfectly here.
The only issue I have seen is a conflict with certain WLan drivers where the VPN establishes fine but you cannot pass any data. This normally results in the concentrator dropping the connection.

spoke to networking security guy about it - no help whatsoever. I asked what troubleshooting he had for different home routers & asked if he had installed it on his home pc....After he stopped choking on his banana.....oh what confidence.....
