Yahoo POP gone down?
The last few days, my wife's and my yahoo email accounts on three different PCs, 2 wireless and one wired on the same network have lost POP connectivity through Outlook Expresss. Sometimes this sort of thing happens now and again and resolves, but now continuous. POP used to be a service you had to upgrade to with Yahoo by agreeing to receive emails from Yahoo, but I can't see anything on the website about it having changed.
"There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Error logging in. Please visit http://mail.yahoo.com', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92"
Any suggestions? Webmail sucks.
Edit - looks like they've sneakily now made the POP access a subsription service. I just got everyone to know my new address after moving house and changing ISPs so don't want an ISP email address that I have to keep changing if I move ISP.
