Really could do with some help please. I cannot believe what I have done.....

I had quite a few PC problems, so bit the bullet and reformated (backing up my files first). When transferring my files back I realised that at some time I had encypted them, and now cannot open them (since loading the OS again!).

This is really important data that I need - I would appreciate any ideas for recovering it (if it is possible....).

Sorted now - managed to copy files from a drive image I made some time ago! Lesson learnt!
