Another big, big vote for Titan. I've had my domain and hosting with them for about seven years. Absolutlety fantastic service and support from them. They might not be the cheapest out there but they really are very good indeed.

Another vote for Fasthosts/UKReg.com, except I use them to register domains (very reliable) and I then point them to my own server space at hostgator.com - very cheap US hosting.

cheers will have a look at them. Did try 123reg/pipex but have heard nothing from them, which doesnt bode well, fallen even before the first hurdle...

ok if i want to do my own dynamic website using frontpage/expression, i just need to go with somewhere that has frontpage extensions or asp.net & not just asp?

I use 123reg, never had a problem, cheap and flexible, I only use their domain services though, I host my own sites on a dedicated server from one of the other members of the Pipex family.
