Default Connection problems

For the past few days i've been having problems viewing certain sites.

The ones i've noticed most are Ebay and signing into MSN.

Ebay takes ages to load up and then i get the "internet explorer cannot display the webpage". MSN fails to sign in and gives me an error code "80072745", but everything is working correctly.

I have done all the usual virus killers etc and nothing has been picked up.

Trouble is, it really seems to be mostly these 2 things and occasionally SIDC. Everything else is fine.

It can't be a firewall as i ain't changed anything, or even downloaded something then it's gone haywire, as it was more a gradual "getting worse" thing.

Anyone got any ideas?

There is an SSL issue with Virginmedia at the moment, mostly in Scotland... it has been noted and should be fixed soon !

Any sites that require a secure login wont work.. well wouldn't work

Go to tools, internet options, advanced, reset default to make sure its not an issue on your computer

But I see your a BY customer, so it's likely to be that issue
