Best mobile data plan?

Guys, need to use the laptop when I'm in Oz next week, but not sure what best to do re wireless data as Orange are stupidly expensive at circa £6.50 a meg.

Are there any better options?

i Know t-mobile are doing 3g data cards at 29.99 p/m with unlimited access, considering one myself but not sure if the coverage is as good say as Voda or O2.
