very occassionally but a couple of times recently, my pc freezes on the boot up screen...continuous turning on/off doesnt unfreeze it, but if i unplug the mains cable for a few seconds then try again, its fine...?!

is this something to do with static discharge and if so what can i do about it..???

I would of said the RAM isn't sitting correctly, or there's dust on the connections!

I'd buy a can of compressed area and give the whole inside the once over, removing all board etc and cleaning the PSU too!

Only what I'd do.... a certain member will be along in a mo to point out my mistakes
