Im not upto date, but whats the top rally game at the mo?

Id like some realism Real spoken pace notes etc

Also, what's a good steering wheel beast to get too?

Or am I better off waiting for a PS3...?

If you want realism try Richard Burns Rally. Its more realistic than CMR or WRC, but very hard

I always thought the rally stages on gran tourismo were pretty good

 

Its nearly a couple of years old now, but as good as any other PS2 rally games graphics wise. I found it a little too hard/realistic and prefered the WRC titles.

 

For out and out fun, i've never found a rally game to beat CM2. The graphics are abit crap compared to later titles but loads of fun

 

WRC Evolution is a good game,I'm just getting back into cm5 again. Roll on March 23rd for the PS3 and when DIRT comes out.Failing that pop over to Wareham Forest in the Evo Mark

I'd vote for RBR for ultimate simulation. WRC and colin are good fun but much more forgiving and depending which colin, possibly too arcadey.

The general consensus is that the logitech G25 is about the best wheel you can get but it is very pricey.

Wheels > Logitech® G25 Racing Wheel

You can get them new off ebay for a bit less though.
