Question Change single SATA PC to mirror RAID?

Hi - I've got a PC with a single Maxtor 200GB SATA drive in. I have procurred a second one the same and want to set up a mirrored RAID array to ensure that we run much lower risk of losing the data on this machine. - Don't need the extra storage, and don't need extra speed on this machine, but not being able to access the data would be a serious PITA!

So can I just plug it in and run the RAID prog and it will sort itself out - or is there more to it than that?

PC is based on ABIT AN7 Mobo running WinXP Pro. Currently 200GB drive is partitioned into 2 ~ 100GB drives - not sure if anything else is relevant...

Cheers

Mick
