I'm on Tiscali with a Belkinn 54g too. Just ran through the initial set up and I was sorted. Is your PC working OK from the router?

Am using Tiscali B/B myself with the Xbox360. Router should'nt make a difference as ive had a couple of different brands (Linksys/Belkin, Original 360 lasted longer than router).

Phone line - Router - Ethernet Cables - Xbox360 + PS2

*Running on WiFi - 2x Laptops/2x Desktops/1xIpaq

Using the Ethernet Cable the 360 should be Plug n' Play.
If I remember correctly I set DNS to open during setup.

Don't you want the modem plugged into the router? If it's into the PC won't you need to enable Internet Connection Sharing and then wants the point of having a router as a switch/hub is all you need?

My Belkin router has an internal modem, so i just have an Ethernet from the PC to the router, then the standard 360 cable from the router to the 360.

I found the following quite useful. The wireless/wired connection is fine but I didnt know what I had to tick/unplug, etc.

Xbox Network Connection Sharing
