Default Recommended Xbox 360 games?

Hello

My wife likes to play Hexic (and is beating most of you here ) is there anything similiar? We have the full version of Luminares which is okay and the demo of Bejewelled 2 which is boring.

Thanks,

Steve

I can't play Hexic at all. It's not easy for us colour blind gamers sometimes

There's nothing else like it on xbla at the moment as far as I know. Worms should be worth a look (especially multi-player) when it's released. Not a puzzle game, but great fun nonetheless

Ian, I tried so hard to play hexic, but no chance for me either. Bejewelled 2 was better for me due to the different shapes of the stones. Thank god, there are some people out there that create puzzle games for us colorblindes.
Steve, sorry I don't know of any similar games to hexic at the moment.

After reading this thread, last night I downloaded Lumines. What a load of pants, nothing like HexicHD or Bejewelled !! Its only got two colours, which is great for my colourblindness (Hexic does have a pattern/colour toggle in menu)

All you gotta do is make them shapes, I mean how hard is that ?? too flipping hard !! after a few hours trying to get the "4x4" shape I had to turn off the xbox

Good work guys on finding this one

I'm stuck on the 'clear all blocks' one. I can't get them off the screen before new blocks fall in from the top

Iain, I am fairly sure there is an option in HexicHD to turn on patterns on the cells, that correspond to colours - Making recognition a bit easier for colour blind people.

Yes there is, and no it doesn't help.

It changes the patterns inside the cells (which helps), but it doesn't change the patterns inside the bombs which appear on about level 3, (i.e. it the bomb cells still rely on colour matching). So, at this point the game becomes unplayable for me.
