Going to build new pc - H E L P !!
Hi,
The time has come to build a new PC
My old faithfull is just that old !!
got about £400 for bits (got screen and other stuff)
I will be ripping and encoding DVDs and Movies. so fast multitasking cpu
No Gaming
Use as a Media centre so spidf out required
I am lost
What I am thinking is
Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86ghz - Skt775 Fsb1066 - (can be overclocked to 3.5ghz) about £100
motherboard to take advantage of above must have on board sound spidf out about £60
Memory - 2gb ddr2 but there are loads whats best value about £100
sata2 hdd 2 off small but fast in raid about £60
cheap gfx card for driving screen and projector - about £40
Vista Home Premium x64Bit (DVD) - about £70 oem
Any thoughts
