Another network question
My mum and dad got set up with NTL, the cheapskates only provided a wired model so my dad has to sit about three feet from the modem.
I bought a Linksys WAP 454 Access point to plug into their NTL 250 model, thinking that this would do the trick but I couldnt get it to connect to the internet, the access point just has one network connector which I plugged into the network port on the back of the model thinking that the NTL modem is just an ethernet router of sorts.
Is this setup correct or is my logic flawed here ?
I might try my Spare Dlink one and give them that as I know how to set that up, the Linksys one was very slick but doesnt have the webpage admin like the DLink.
