I am having problems trying to play music it was working fine last week. i try to listen to a song and this pop up

windows media player can not play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. It might be being used by other program or not working properly.

I can hear sound when i recive messengers on msn but cant get any other sounds

any ideas thanks

Silly question but have u rebooted n retried? Sounds like a driver has failed.

If not that then I would think somethin is up with your soundcard. You could try reseating it, and reinstalling its drivers, if your not using the standard windows ones.
