New Company MD - What do I tell him about my job ??
ok
company has just been taken over, have a new top management team etc, due to have several interviews soon regarding me and what i do !!!
if asked whats my role within the company as IT Manager,
what should i say - i am a head down and get on with the job person never one to talk the game if you know what i mean all advise appreciated

The truth never hurts but make certain you tell him you are a team player and never turn your back on a good idea or suggestions from colleagues. A boss wants someone who is competent, can get the job done when needed but also needs someone who can work with others without needing to be hand held.
Maybe write down some of the accomplishments you have made and what benefit they have had to the company, i.e, try to put yourself in a position of power so they realise just how important you are to the company.
