Simple DVD burning question
OK...I consider myself pretty technically savvy, but have just been stumped by the simplest problem...
I've received my internal DVD burner for a Dell Latitude (thank you US e-bay!), but it came with no s/w. It can read and write to CDs, and read DVDs, but comes up with a nasty little error when writing to DVDs. Google tells me that this is because XP is not compatible with DVD writing (Cheers Bill!).
OK thinks me...no problem, I'll download a burning tool...so off to google I go. Unfortunately all I can find are lots of sites that show me how to decrypt, or shrink or crack codes for illegal Nero copies etc. I don't want any of that - I ONLY want to copy data to DVD...surely there is something free, easy to use, reliable, not riddled with spyware and not from some dodgy site, I dont want to pay for video editing/authoring, cover design, playlists blah, blah, blah...
Any ideas ?
Cheers
