Default TVersity streaming to Xbox 360. Help needed.

Hi there,

Just started playing around with TVersity & i seem to have everything linked to work, but when i log onto the xbox using TVersity & say pick a music video it tells me that my connection is lost.

When i reset & use just the sharing between the pc & the xbox i can play music no problems.

Any ideas ?

Hello

Have you allowed UPNP on your router?

In addition, I found Tversity a pain to use. It shows a huge long file list and stops 60 seconds from the end of any video.

I have just installed Transcode 360 which seems much better. Although I did have to install Vista to get that to work!

Transcode seems to be able to play most files where as TVersity seems to be very choosey about what it plays.
Has anyone tried that Xploder program (£14.99) that promises to make it super easy (although you still need Media Centre on your PC).

i cannot get tversity to work, my xbox can see it and I can list see all the films in the list (and extras!) but it says it cannot play any even though they can be played on my pc (media centre)
May try transcode to see if that works.
