Sons portable dvd player will play most things - original / non original discs, just wonder off the few the discs that wont actually play if I were to burn the disc onto another make off disc - if the player would recognise the disc or would it more than likely still refuse to play.

wonder just what makes the dvd players recognise some non original discs and not others ??

 

Some dvd players only play -R while some will play both -R and +R could it be that the disc's that it wont play are +R. Also do a search on the net some dvd players have codes you can put in to make them regon free.

 

Would making the player region free allow the player to play both these types off discs then, possibly allowing me to play the non recognised disc ???
