Question HELP!!

Just downloaded a file from the Internet ........ it won't play, so I want to delete it.

It won't let me!!

I can't move it, right click doesn't bring up the usual list of delete/rename etc

How can I get rid of it? It's in a folder ... in the past I have had to delete the folder - but this time there are 100's of items in the folder so don't want to delete the whole lot ...

Any help out there?

Try using this Pete (it's safe don't worry). Download and install it, right click on the file then select WhoLockMe from the context menu. It should tell you what process is stopping you deleting the file. That should allow you to kill it in taskmanager / process manager and then delete the offending file.

Helps if I add the link.... WhoLockMe Explorer Extension v1.04 beta (NT-Win2K-XP) download page
