Wii IR extender cable?

Wii IR extender cable?
Does anyone know if an infra red bar extender cable is available as yet for the Wii?
The cable supplied with it is about 3m short, with the Wii sitting on my Amp stand and wanting to position the IR bar below the cinema screen.
Other option is to cut the cable and extend it - which I dont really want to do

Yep, have a similar problem here too..
I'm going to do a google to find out what the wiring is inside the IR lead.. I may just splice a 4m centre section of wire in the middle if it's simple enough
