No, pre-ordered with gamestation who said 6th Jan, was hoping to get one before that, I was told that toys-r-us were opening tonight, not so, not sure if I can get my hands on one anywhere before xmas now.

i was but i am number 84 and they have said that they are only going to get 80 in now and i took the day off work now so well gutted. will have to carry on playing vegas online on the 360 for the time being

I'll be looking around the stores tomorrow to see if I can just pick one up.... If I can, I can.... If not, I won't worry too much....
Would be a nice toy to have a laugh with at Christmas - especially as the Mrs keeps seeing the ads on TV and saying "Oh, that looks like a lot of fun". She's never said that about the Xbox....

I've got some pics at home I took in NY when it was released over there!
Absolute nutters the lot of em, as apparantly not many places take pre-orders over there..... hence one of the queues we saw outside Nintendo World having over 1000 people in it.
So...... at least we have some order over here.

They had a demo in Bluewater a couple of weeks and while the thing itself looked like a nice bit of kit, I can imagine carnage up and down the country on Christmas day
The various games on Wii Sport were all fine and the controllers looked very cool in the demo environment but take two enthusiastic kids or a kid/parent combo add 8 foot ceilings, coffe table, Christmas tree, sofa, dog, granny, younger siblings, crap on the floor and start a game of tennis or boxing.... carnage

I've been trying to hunt down the component cable for these suckers...... can't get one for love nor money.
I can't believe that a manufacturer releases a console and doesnt even have the higher quality cable for video available on launch day.
I thought the days of using crappy AV were long gone!

Doesnt sound right to me...... the store phoned me yesterday and then I phoned them today late morning and everything was hunky dory. Plus it has all been on the national news tonight about the launch....... if the UK press reporters dont know nothing about it, I doubt it exists as a true story!!!
