Default Blank DVD media for Intel iMac

Afternoon/Evening All,
I'll be a big boy and admit it, I'm a DVD-R, -RW, +R, +RW, +R DL, virgin.

I'm guessing from what I posted above, that DVD-RW and DVD+RW are similar to CD-RW, in other words, nicely re-writable, which would be perfect for what I want (it's actually a boot CD, so RW would be great as I can update the boot dvd when OS updates are released)

Do I want DVD-RW or DVD+RW. From the look of System Profiler the drive is actually ħR/W as it says +RW and -RW), which is better, or does it not matter?

So, recommend me some decent media

I use DVD - R in mine - assume it would be the same for RW

Thanks Co-worker of mine suggested that Memorex seem to be pretty good as well.

If you're going to play in standalone players, check for the player as a fair few only support one type (mine is JVC and only plays -r)
