Default No sound?

For some reason, I am only getting the frount right speaker working.
I have tried the speaker test, and there is no output on the left, but on a good day it will kick in.
It's not the speakers, as it happens with two sets.
From what I can see, the sound card seems to be a Xear 3d running with 5.12.1.29 driver.
Or..........a C-media AC97 using that driver.
It says the device is working, and the trouble shooting is like tit's on fish.

Is it onboard or not? AC97 is usually onboard only.

But it does sound like the Sound card's outputs to the other speakers are dodgy. Try another soundcard if it isn't onboard.
