I live in a new ish house on a new ish estate
The estate has no cable TV or ntl or what ever
When I and my wife moved in the house was brand new we had mobile phones so had no need for a land line so we never had one fitted
Now we want broadband but as there is no ntl or what ever it’s called apparently we need a BT land line and have to pay for it installing and pay for the privilege of having it even though I would only use it for broadband which really gets me angry what would I want a home phone for when I have mobiles that I can take out the house and take with me hence A MOBILE PHONE if im not at home all the time what’s the point I only want internet not a phone so why pay line rental

Dose any one know a way around this all I want is 24/7 access to here and the rest of the net

BT do a package called BT fusion, where the phone is both fixed and mobile, then just get your broadband on that, simple

any idea as to what it would cost as i dont mined paying for broadband up to about 20 a month but i hate the idea of paying for somthing i wont uselike a home phone
