Logitech drivers are **** basically. Mate had the bluetooth kb n mouse set, that would lockup when using winamp of all things, and quite often would drop the connection, leaving him to reboot.

I've got the logitech mediaplay cordless mouse, and have never had a problem with it (it's been one of the the best mice I've owned - ceratinly better than the MS mouse it replaced).

I use it 8+ hours a day during the week, and two aa batteries usually last me about 4-5 months. So I wouldn't expect the batteries to be a problem in your case.

I can accept that some might use a bit more juice than others, but surely the difference can't be that much (i.e. days vs months)

found the problem now.....

it is battery problem. (i'm 75% sure)

got a battery tester and they are both dead.

now i'm in a bit of a dilema....called mesh already for a replacement.

and they will send me returns form.. which i have to send back,. then when they receive it they will send me new keyboard and mouse.

should i tell them its a battery problem...duh duh duh duh

or should i change it anyway..

also could anyone recomend me a decent battery charger with batts.. and for a cheap price plz

Logitech mice are awesome.

I've had both an MX700 and MX1000 Laser and both get hammered for 10 hours+ a day, never had any major issues with them.

Go here: Great Digital Deals - *NEW* Uniross Sprint Battery Charger + 4 x (AA)2500Ni/MH

get the offered charger and batteries - plus a spare set. 2500 miAH batteries have way more life in them than standard Alkalines... I have several sets from 1700 upwards that I use for my digital camera, torch, mouse, keyboard yada yada. I save a fortune in batteries this way.
