ah the Blue-ray Trojan horse ...... Good luck with all that, March is the Latest date so they say.
I'll stick with the 360 I think. They say the PS3 will be better ... it had better be because it's a full year and a half later.

Yep I reckon the Wii will keep the fun factor and should be a good bet. For me I dont think the PS3 will offer anything great, so what the games look better does that make them any more playable? Not really, had my first go on a 360 last week playing PGR3 have to say thoroughly underwhelmed. Not that it was bad it just wasnt 'wow', graphics looked good but I didnt think it played any better than Toca3 on PS2.

Yeah. agree with you gary
Nothing new in terms of gameplay between ps1 and 2 and between 360 and x-box.
Nintendo on the otherhand are pure geniuses!
Gamecube, bloody great. I have one and the fun you can have with your m8s is equal to a good 4 player on pro evo 5 on ps2!
Now the Wii, playing tennis in your living room against somebody in America sounds like more fun than holding a controler and letting your **** get numb

If you expect to much, then you should always expect to be disappointed.
The games are good on the 360, it's all progression, none of the first wave of games on the ps2 or xbox were much better than on the ps1, but nearing the end of the run of the above machines and there were, it'll be the same with the consoles.

But you need to define good surely, if you wait another year for 360 games guaranteed that the software houses will be looking to make them a visual and sonic delight *but* that still doesnt mean they will be any more enjoyable to play. I really think it is the law of diminishing returns, thats why I think nintendo are being smart, if you want something new and interesting change the way a player 'interacts' with a game not just spend a million dollars making it look cool. Thats where sony have been innovative with eye toy, singstar and buzz.
Just my 2 cents!

Also in my opinion, PGR3 is one of the worst games on the 360, (I got terminally bored with it within 2-3 days). There are much better games out there for the 360 than that tosh...

From computerandvideogames.com...
Can't wait
Berlin-based publisher, Frogster Interactive has signed a deal with veteran UK developer, Bitmap Brothers to bring remakes of its classic retro-titles to PC in 2007.
The deal sees Frogster ****** the worldwide PC-rights for cult-classic Amiga titles, Speedball 2 and Chaos Engine, which it will release for PC in 2007 with development assistance from The Bitmap Brothers.
The futuristic sports game, Speedball 2 was originally released in 1988, snatching The Golden Joysticks Game of the Year award and subsequently appearing on nearly every relevant system thereafter. Chaos Theory also saw success in '93, apparently securing the "SEGA Award 1994 for Best Action Game".
Beyond this, no details were offered on how extensively the two retro classics are going to be tinkered, but we're promised announcements on gameplay details and online features soon.

I will probably get a PS3 when I'm in America in November if I can be bothered to pre-order one.
If I don't like it I will probably get my money back on eBay.
