Quick advice on progs/drives pls
After about 3 months and many components sorting my BSOD issue [it was the GFX card...but only in 1240 mode - safe mode was fine
] I have ended up with an unwanted new C: SATA & fresh install of XP on it to 'get in'.
Now i can still read the files on the old HD [that I have hung on the slave SATA driver] but it remains unrecognisable as a first boot device 'page file in non page area BSOD' and I cant fix it with Norton/Win CD [only a re-format would do...]. This means I can actually get at at my files but .exe files wont run. Key to this is the loss of Photoshop - and I have no disk
Is there any way to get the installed unpacked Photoshop on the 'old HD' to run? If so a tip will make me a happy chappie!
