FEAR isn't stressing my new PC enough, I thought that was supposed to be tough going...
Everythings flat out and it still runs sweet even at max res.


Any idea's what else to try.
Hell it doesn't have to bring it to it's knees, any good games will do.

Oblivion. It's a good game (but slow to get used to if you've never played an ES game before) and it will bring your machine to it's knees.

Corsair XMS 6400 C3 2048 MB (twin x)
Intel D975 series (xbx) M/B
ATI Radeon X1950 (soon to be crossfired when the master card turns up) (on back order )
and Two 36GB Raptors in RAID-0

GTR2 is amazing, but it won't tax your uber system.

 

Guild wars, who cares about mips, fps, or trillion parsercs per nano gb

gameplay, plot, or storyline, thats what counts...

What resolution are you running FEAR with max settings?
1920x1200 at max is too much for my 2x 7900GT Sli on a slightly less powerful rig

Since building my rig have realised that 512Mb gfx cards give much better results than 256Mb at high resolutions.

 

1600 x 1200 is as high as the game will allow (natural res for screen is 1920x1200)

World of warcraft is the way forward, you will never have to buy another game.

 

Try running 3dmark 06 and 05 and post what score you get

 

Funny you should say that as I'm playing with it now... 01 running at the mo, had to reverse a little as it crashed on 33% overclock on the CPU as I can't run elevated voltages without modding the board.
