Default Dual ADSL

About to move house and suspect as moving into the country, that I won't be able to get NTL broadband (which for all of NTL's faults, I have actually found quite good).

Was wondering if there is anyway of having 2 ADSL connections? Either on the same line, or on a separate BT line. I currently have about 3 different firms who will give me free broadband because I have other products with them and was wondering if there is any way of having 2 (or more) ADSL connections on the same PC. Thought this way, if out in the sticks far from an exchange, you could "double up" the connections, like you could with dial-up years ago, so hopefully countering loss of speed due to distance from the exchange.

Is it cost prohibitive?

Is it possible?

It is possible as Nildram offer such deals, however each ADSL requires its own pnone line with rental etc.

Unfortunately its not possible, I know what your thinking, one for uploading and one for downloading, the equipment on the other hand does both and you dont have a dedicated link between either so....
Nice idea will never happen though.
Ive PM'd you, if you send me your post code ill check to see where you are from the exchange on your new house (as long as its a bt line as I work for thme )

That isnt what you think it is.....

Drjsd, your saying about the normal line doubling up, that was TPON and DACS, it didnt acutally double anything up, it split it in half.
Used for long line phones (ie far from the exchange).

They just remove it now and give you a single b/b line

It is possible to bond multiple ADSL lines, as I said each ADSL requires it's own phone line. DACS was there to generally solve a problem of insufficient capacity for voice lines.
