Default Backup Exec help

I'm running Backup Exec 9.0 on Server 2003.

Over the last few nights the backups have displayed as active when I've checked the foillowing morning, always at about 46.3GB, so I have to cancel them. The log then says:

Error reading file data
Media mount failed.

This is with different media

I'm running an insternal HP DAT72 with backup Exec settings as:

compression [hardware] if available, otherwise none

I'm wondering if the tape is running out of space and the job is just freezing.

I know its sorted but moving up from 9.0 sorted a few problems for us, im sure it was 9.1 or 9.2

v9.0 was a load of rubbish, first troubleshooting step was always to remove and install v9.1
