What's the actual URL for the OSX downloads on the Apple site?
you click on a security update for example, a script runs (as seen in the address bar), then the actual URL flashes up prior to the download beginning.
It's something like -
download.info.com.............
Apparently I need it for my IT guys at work to write exceptions for the firewall (at present, no Mac updates are alllowed through the firewall)
Can you help?
Dan

Hi Dan,
I just downloaded the Security Update for 10.4.7 and whilst it was downloading I used the "Copy Address" option in Safari and got the following:
http://supportdownload.apple.com/dow...pd2006-004.dmg
You can also check the url a file was downloaded for by going to the downloaded file, using "Get Info" and then you'll see a "More Info" section, pop that open and there you go.
