Got meself a 360 at the weekend with PGR3. Love driving games and first-person shooters, any recommendations to boost my collection?

 

Condemned and Perfect Dark can be picked up for bargain prices now and are good FPS's, well worth playing

Have Tennis, DOA3

Borrowed PGR3 and a couple of other games.
Need to get some "Kid Friendly" games too.

Suggestion, I have Black on the PS2 and think thats a fantastic game.

 

Cheers, downloaded a demo of perfect dark last night, so will have a bash with that tonight. Loved Black on the PS2, great game!

 

if you like FPS youve got to get one of the following

Call of Duty 2 (great online, superb single player campaign)
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (much more tactical shooter, very good online game choices)

Cheers Mark, played the Demo of Call of Duty, really great atmospherics. I'm leaning towards that at the minute, but want to keep my options open before I jump in. In the past I usually by loads of games when I first get a console, and some of them usually get made redundant, so want to avoid that this time round!

 

Oblivion if you want an game that will keep you occupied for days at a time.
Go to the Live marketplace and download the free demos (good way of trying before you buy)
Theres plenty of good puzzle games as well on Live marketplace

 

Oblivion was an excellent engrossing game that will eat your spare time.

You should be able to pick up some bargains now, and save your pennies for November when Microsoft release their top titles (Gear's of War to mention one) to combat the PS3.

I've got the limited edition Perfect Dark if you're interested in buying it. Only played it a couple of times.



Oh, and Geo Wars is an essential purchase from the Live Arcade

 

I found Perfect Dark to be rubbish, personally. Quake 4 is similarly a waste of time. Call of Duty 2 is OK but Oblivion is amazing, both grahically and as a game.

 

PGR3 & Burnout for racing.

GRAW for FPS, PDZ is much better online than off, and COD2 is also highly reccommended.

 

Bear in mind COD2 was essentially an xbox game ported over and tarted up, COD3 is due out soon which should be a true 360 game, also coming soon is Medal of Honor Airbourne which looks worth a look.

 

Rainbow Six Vegas out in a few weeks & Gears Of War out November, 2 to have on your shopping list.

 

Might sniff out ghost recon - that'll keep me occupied until Gears of War, that looks awesome!

 

Now Scrappy2 is happy , are there any games like Ratchet & Clank on the Xbox for a bit of mindless running up and down shooting stuff ...

Just getting a little bit closer to finished Condemned - great game. A game that captures the oppressive feeling of the move "Seven". Really dark and twisted.....

Highly recommended
