I haven't got a clue about this stuff but I'm trying to find a download of the Trawlermen programmes that have been on this week, any pointers..?

you need to install a programme that can make sense of the torrent files and connect to the swarm of other people that either have a full copy (seeders) or a partial copy (leechers)
I use http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ possibly not the best but it's what I've used for years and it's easy enough to setup. Just remember you need the latest Java too.

then off you go and find the torrent you want

http://www.uknova.com has the TV episodes your looking for but you need to sign up

I always use www.mininova.org, found every tv episode I needed from that site.

I've got opera as a client so can use that but couldn't find the eps required from my novice searches.

I tried to sign up for uknova bbut the signup page is blank...?

Do you have a torrent client?

I use BitComet - search Google and you can download it for free. Within BitComet there is a browser with all the main torrent sites already bookmarked.

Got signed up, they've got a cap on users so you can only get in when they've purged old accounts.
