Wireless Xbox streaming HD Wmv's or divx/xvid via the media centre extender. I'm using the extender for my projector room but want the same setup in the living room.
you'd need Media centre on the laptop for this

Ah, ok - so all I need is the Xbox wireless adaptor ? i;ve got wireless network at home and media centre on the laptop..
Will this let me stream .ts files from the laptop to the Tv via the xbox then ?
What about VOB files ?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm getting quite excited about this as it sounds just what I'm after doing !

I was tempted myself but im still happy with my old xbox.
Just use paypal but use your credit card to pay, this way if it doesnt turn up just contact your credit card company they will stop payment and issue a full refund!
We just got ripped off on ebay with a memory card.
Seller claims it was sent recorded but refused to give tracking info so we phoned barclaycard and stopped payment.
2 months later still no card but we got full refund now seller is no longer a registered user.
If we didnt contact c,card we would have lost that £30.

To do anything other than WMV's you'l need to use an on the fly converting software with that setup.
Google transcode 360 it should list the files it can convert on the fly. The HD stuff I'm streaming works very well. via transcode but they are in divx format

I just couldn't see why he was selling RRP of £430 worth of gear for £199.99
some things are wrong like the demo disc and he said in an email two wireless controllers ?
I don't need another one anyway so nothing lost.

I looked this morning and couldn't work out what he's been upto. I agree that everyone got a refund with no Xbox sent but what was the point in it all ?

He's an "ebay trader" so basically he sells on behalf of third parties, he was probably told somebody had a shipment of xboxes coming in and he jumped at the chance to make some quick money off them. Looks like he was let down
