DVD-RW media
I use these to burn TV shows so I can watch them on the xbox... wireless network isn't up to it unfortunately. They only seem to work for about 3 of 4 and that's it. Is that other peoples experience too or am I just buying cheapo ones?

Phase change media varies hugely in price and quality, usually directly linked.
I have a +r recorder for the telly and have found Philips media to be very reliable (at under 60p per disc).
Try using a Verbatim, Maxell, HP, TDK or Imation branded disc if you're having problems with your current discs.
