Default Help setting up my pc and lcd please :)

Hi all.... can anyone help?

I have one of those small shuttle pc's that i would like to connect to my lcd but i cant seem to get the lcd to display an image,

I bought a vga to component lead and set the res on the pc to 1024 X 768 60hz but nothing

Can anyone help?

BTW the LCD has these inputs: Svideo , 2X HDMI, Component, 2 X Scart and Composite.

It Might be easier with a DVI-HDMI cable if your Shuttle has a DVI output.

I don't have much experience in setting up component cables so all I could sa is make sure you have enabled the 'tv' option in the (advanced) display settings

No DVI Output on the shuttle Any other ideas?

change the input type to VGA on the LCD (using the in built menu)

Question

Our advice will depend on the Gfx card, drivers and LCD panal that you have, let us know.

Rather than trying to set a resolution like 1024x768 @ 60Hz you should be looking to set the Gfx output to component 720p. I can't be more specific without knowing exactly what you've got.

Hi All,

This is the spec of all the bits i have

MSI Mega Cube
DDR 512 MB Ram
80 GB HD
P4 3.0 GHZ
DVD Rewriter
Onboard Sound
And it just has the normal VGA output on an inbuilt grafics card.... no DVI or S video etc .... There is room to expand tho

TV is a Phillips 32" LCD TV
32" Screen Size
High definition LCD WXGA display, resolution 1366 x 768p
Inputs: As Above

Anyone help??
