Converting Minidiscs to CDs
A friend brought round an MD player and some MDs and wants me to transfer them to CD, what would be the best way of going about it ?

probably using the line out socket into 2 phono plugs using the old method of "listening to it while you record it" like you did when taping stuff off th charts 20 years ago, Peter Kay style.
IIRC Sony did a computer drive for mini-discs but I dont fancy your chances of finding one.
There may be a way of using Sony's SonicStage program but its ages since I've used that, there may be someone on SN who knows but it might be worthwhile asking on AV Forums.

Looking at the MD player there's just two sockets on it. One's a digital in, and the other is the headphone socket. Could I connect the headphone socket to the line-in on my soundcard, rip to MP3 and then burn it to CD ?
I don't have a CD recorder on the hifi so I'd have to use the PC to do it.
