Batch convert MP3 bitrates??
I am looking for a piece of software to batch convert 40 GBs worth of Mp3s from 320 to 192...anyone know of any programs?

iTunes will do it (in batch) but won't delete any of the old files after conversion (I don't think) which means you'll need enough disk space for everything twice and that you'll need a method of telling which is which. I appreciate this probably not a massive help...sorry.
Someone might be able to think of a way round this though?

Applications applications, this will do it:
% perl -nle 'system("lame", "-b", "192", $_) == 0 or warn ("$_: couldn't encode\n");' *.mp3
Lame comes with mlame for working with multiple files at once, may be called lame4dos on Win32, can't remember.
