MS Word/Equation editor problem
I am currently creating a document with lots of equations. I can create the equations with no problem but when I come to edit them it informs me that "Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges"
I can edit the rest of the document no problem and have full control on everything.
Anyone got any ideas what is going on or have any thoughts on a potential solution? It is going to be a pain having to delete and re-write each equation i wish to edit.

Thanks for that Nick, it doesn't quite answer the question but there is lots of good stuff in there that gives me some ideas for the future.
I still can't work out what is going on and I've never seen it before, it is almost as if all the equations i create become write/edit protected once i create them. Weird. Still, most of the equations are done now and no one died but i'd love to know what is going on out of general interest.
