Question persistant SCSI reservations

Hi,

Just wondered if you of you Solaris 8 / VxVM guru's have come across problems with these under VxVM v4.0 and SAN disk.

Scenario: reconfiguration reboot is performed on a system, on coming up 50% of the disk is showing as reserved.

Reboot result of failed 'on-line' configuration using cfgadm after 5 new LUNs were zoned in on the SAN.

One thing to mention, via a previous reboot (several months back) the hostname of the box was changed.

Just on the off chance you guys have seen something similar...

Thanks, Alex

Well only advice I've had so far is to use VxVM v4.1 and dump v4.0

Nope, other than the disks being in a reserved state via format.
