What router do you have?
Does it support multiple connections?
DHCP range incorrectly set?
IP Conflict on machines?

its a netgear router, model number escapes me...

we think that the problem may be ... my use upstairs... online gaming and surfing, or more likley her machine only having 256mb of mem, its only left with 90 when all apps up and running.

i have a half gig upgrade due shortly, we,ll see if that make a differance...

the next prob is the lack of p2p now ive gone via a router. not having much success there either

You're confusing me.

The portforward website will guide you how to log onto you're router, and change the settings on you're router.

do i enter the data into the portforward pages, or the routers config pages, neither of them seem to work

and the portforward page shown for one section is a different page to what the netgear admin section gives

You enter the information into you're routers config pages via Internet Explorer.

Have a look for the model of router you're using. Then find the coresponding model on www.portforward.com. The pages on portforward.com will guide you on how to set-up you're router. The website does not allow you to actually port forward.

I hope that makes things clearer?
