its much easier getting a game in the afternoons than the evenings - managed to get to 8th in the world on Friday - I'm now down at a rather mediocre 21st...

Acheivements are pice of cake - only 2 left to get now...

Im sticking to the 35th anniverserry elimination, i am whipping **** atm. one good tactic is not to **** off the yanks or they will gang up and stitch you up

1. Dont be shy dishing out the +2 & miss a go cards - be a git! Especially if someone's french & try to get rid as soon as possible - if you want to keep hold of them, aim to use them when an opponent is getting down to the final few cards.
2. Dont bother try to bluff with the +4 cards - its better to guarantee your opponent 4 cards than risk taking 6 yourself.
3. Watch for your opponents taking cards from the pack - it'll tell you what colours and numbers they dont have - then try to keep them on that colour.
4. Watch for your opponents playing change colour cards - it'll tell you what colour they (probably) have most of - then try to change it but without using your own change colour cards unless neccessary. Try to use numbers only.
5. Keep pressing the Y button when an opponent has only 2 cards left - if they forget to press Uno before playing you'll dish them 2 cards and...
6. Always , always, always press X when you have 2 cards left - dont be tempted to jump in with +4 card.
7. Aim to keep wildcards until the end, they're the easiest to finish on. (and you get an acheivement for it)
8. If the player opposite is doing well - try to allow the player following you to screw his chances up - try to keep off the miss a go & +2 cards if you can - you're just handing the next go to someone you dont have much influence over.
9. Play with a muted headset - the amount of american kids shouting "change it to blue" is unbeleivable.

Top tips, thanks. I'm still getting beat by the CPU though Had a quick play online and won no problem, but against the CPU it can be tricky to win. 3 more achievements to go . . .

Solo mode is harder I think - people online are much more stupid!
