depends on what you want the bluetooth for??

if you get a bluetooth enabled pda (non gps) you can add a bluetooth gps mouse (£40ish) this then gives you sat nav (you need s/w) from a pda...

the other option is a pda with cf&sd slots... you can add a cf gps mouse, and potentially use the bluetooth for a phone, (not sure on this as ive not come accross a pda with all three)

if you want the pda bluetooth for the phone and gps mouse, i,m not sure if they will work at the same time, youll need to investigate that one

but i do know a pda with bluetooth will work with a bluetooth gps mouse,

My XDA2i works both at the same time. I'll be SatNaving along, a call comes in and I can answer it handsfree, end call and carry on SatNaving with no break.

HP's 6515 is a fully-fledged PDA (running PPC 2003) with a built in GPS
TomTom is running on mine.
The phone is also V.good

Also got a both Mini SD and SD slots. I've got a 1Gig MiniSD with the entire of Europe maps on it. The SD slot caters for my WIFI card.

Great bit of kit.

im not necessarily looking for one with a phone function, but that connects to my motorola handset by bluetooth in order to allow me to answer/make calls hands free...

Why you need to connect to your phone?

PDA does SatNav

Phone does phone and handsfree

PDA via phone does internet (either Bluetooth or IR) using GPRS.

SatNav doesn't need GPRS unless you are using a traffic monitor system in which case you might have problems with a 2 device setup.

Or am I missing something?

nah, its not you, i dont think im explaining myself very well...

from what i gather the tom-tom units allow a hands free bluetooth function...phone goes off in car, you answer it through the tom-tom...but its only a sat nav system, no other functions...

but i want a pda with the same function...so itll have sat-nav, which some of them do, but ill be able to use it to answer calls going to my mobile when im in the car and use it as a pda and gps unit when im on foot...

ive had a look at a few of the pdas mentioned above, but cant work out if theyve got the functionality im after...what im looking for may not exist...!
