Freelance Badger

Being talked into getting a webcam by new girlfriend.....but need one that works on my Mac and works well with her PC - have read a few reviews which say Isight doens't work too well when when linked to PCs....Any thoughts on what would work on my Mac and allow me to see hers on her PC? What are the key specs which make a difference to quality? We are both on Broadband. Would it make a difference if I could get the same camera as hers?
