you already have the keywords in there.
<meta name="Keywords" content="simon, critchley, focus live photography, music photography, gig photography, music photographer, gig photographer">
<meta name="Author" content="Simon Critchley">
you might want to include the following
<meta name="Description" content="<insert info here>">
To be honest the days that search engines JUST look at the keywords and description are long gone. Google has over 130 different things it searches and the keywords and description are just one or two.
I did a site a few weeks ago and they wanted a holding page while I was building it and that got listed quite quickly with google! No keywords, infact no meta tags at all.
If you want extra meta information take a look at my site and then view the code all the meta info is in between <head></head>

How did you tell google.
You can add a URL at http://www.google.com/addurl.html
it can take 60 days before it spiders your site.
Also you might want to add your site to DMOZ - http://www.dmoz.org
Also, again! get a copy of the google tool bar as it tells you if your site has a page rank with google.

I used 1 of the links at the bottom of the page on their search page.
The sites been active for more than 60 days so should have been found by now I'd have thought.

Work out what you want people to search for to find your site. These are keywords.
Get your keywords in here, try not to include company names first, keywords are important. Dont include 'The, and or any other 'filler' words....':
<title>Focus Live - Home Page</title>
You have stylesheet information in the head which is good.
Try and write some more text, use keywords and put them within <h1> <h2> and <h3> tags, style these tags like you have with .style1.
Good will see H1 tags and see them as important.
If you can do away with tables it helps but if you are new to this, dont worry. (You can do what you've done purely in CSS and it will reduce the amount of HTML - less HTML improves keyword density=better ranking.
This is a massive subject and there are many different things to do but try those listed above first!
Good luck,
Rich

New to this. Gawd, that was done purely in Dreamweaver cos I don't know html, let alone CSS.. Least with DW I get to see what I'm creating and can adjust if it doesn't look right.
