A Bit of Help Please?
Am wanting to know how much approx. I should be paying to have a web site built for a small business.
It would be about 9 pages long. Will have a site map With info to be picked by search engines 100 pages. And a link to an e-commerce site.
Any ball park figures would help enormously.

are the 9 pages static?
does the ecommerce already exist?
does the design need to follow the ecommerce or has it been designed?
can you clarify what this means 'Will have a site map With info to be picked by search engines 100 pages'
just remember cheapest is not necessarily the best and what ever someone posts in here, someone else's mate would have done it fo 1/4 of the price...

Oh heck I knew this would get complicated, I'm asking on behalf of a mate. I'll have to glean a bit more info.... watch this space.

Does he need to be able to update the text on the web pages? What is the design the website needs to follow.. I.E link to existing E-Commerce web site.
If there is a layout that needs to be followed and i'm assuming the artwork is all there, logos, etc. Then i can't seeing it costing a great deal of money but then i'm not sure how complex the design is that you would have to follow, etc.
